Our Shelter is Now Open!

After all the hard work this past year, we are excited to say that our Emergency Homeless Shelter on Bridge St. is now open! The over 100 year old house can now accomodate up to 6 families. Check out the photos here!

We want to thank everone who was involved in the process of updating the shelter, C & D Builders, Bowman Architecture, Sentry Fire, Fire Defense, Adams County, Bison Electrical Service Team, American Furniture Warehouse and TriState Surveying. We could not have done it without the support of everyone involve including the Brighton community, our staff and our ever-present board members.

A more official ribbon cutting and open house for the public to come and see the shelter is scheduled to happen as soon as it warms up (weather permitting), sometime in March! Date TBD.
