Ice Cream Social to be Held at Almost Home

The Nonprofit Council of the Greater Brighton Chamber of Commerce will be hosting "Nonprofit Week" the week of June 10 - June 13. Nonprofit Week will provide an opportunity for you to learn more about the people and the organizations that provide so many vital services to Brighton area families. There will be free receptions, open houses, mini-education sessions, and family-friendly activities, as well as a celebratory luncheon on June 13, at 11:30, at the Armory Performing Arts Center ($15 admission). CLICK HERE for more info or to register for the luncheon. Almost Home will be participating on Tuesday, June 11 with an Ice Cream Social from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the Almost Home Community Room. Bring your family in to enjoy a cool treat and learn more about how we help those in our community who are facing homelessness and housing instability. There will also be a craft area with house shaped cards that can be colored and decorated with inspiring messages that we will share with the families we serve.
