Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Almost Home! We are excited to welcome compassionate and dedicated individuals like you who are eager to make a positive impact in our community. Our organization thrives on the energy and commitment of our volunteers, and we believe everyone has something valuable to contribute.​
Current opportunities
Family Table at Almost Home
- Individual volunteers or groups of volunteers are needed year-round to help cook warm
meals for families at our shelter.
- When: Year-round when available
- Where: Almost Home Family Shelter 22 S. 4th Ave Ste #102 Brighton, CO 80601
Navigation Center Greeter
- We need a volunteer to help answer the door, welcome clients, and assist with checking
in/ sign up.
- Help organize and distribute food and supplies
- When: During Nav center hours when available (Mon-Thurs between 9am-12pm or 1pm-3pm)
- Where: Almost Home 22 S. 4th Ave Ste. #102 Brighton, CO 80601

Things to know before volunteering at Almost Home:

Almost Home looks forward to partnering with individuals, families, church groups, corporate groups, sports teams etc. who are interested in giving back.

Volunteers 13 years and younger must attend with a parent or guardian. Volunteers 14 years and older can volunteer independently.

All volunteers are required to complete a Volunteer Waiver Form prior to attending their first volunteer event.

Volunteers under the age of 18 must have their Volunteer Parental Agreement signed by a parent or guardian to participate in volunteering.

Volunteer location will vary based on project. Some opportunities are remote.
