Gifts Through Your Will or Trust

A gift made through a will or living trust is convenient to arrange. A simple provision or amendment prepared by your attorney at the time you make or update your will or trust is all that is necessary. Gifts included in wills and living trusts are flexible, easy to arrange, and may be changed with your life circumstances.

Here are the most popular ways to give through wills and trusts:

  • Make a gift of a specific amount.

  • Make a gift of a percentage of your estate.

  • Give the remainder, or residue, of your estate to Almost Home, Inc., that is, what remains after all other gifts to friends and loved ones are satisfied.

  • Name Almost Home, Inc. to receive a gift before the remainder of the trust is distributed to heirs.

Gifts by Beneficiary Designation

Continue your support for Almost Home, Inc. for years to come by naming our organization as a beneficiary of your retirement account, life insurance plan, bank account, or other assets.

This doesn’t require an estate plan or lawyer, and you can change your beneficiaries at any time.

It only takes three simple steps to make this type of gift:

  1. Contact your retirement plan administrator, insurance company, bank or financial institution for a change-of-beneficiary form.

  2. Decide what percentage (1 to 100) you would like us to receive and name us, along with the percentage you chose, on the beneficiary form.

  3. Return the completed form to your plan administrator, insurance company, bank or financial institution.

Planned Giving Options
